| Den store attraksjonen i Broome er Cable Beach. Det var her en telegrafledning fra Europa, via Asia og Indonesia, ble ført i land så tidlig som i 1870. I dag er ikke det så viktig lenger. Det som er viktig i dag er at det er en flott strand, med noen aldeles praktfulle sanddyner rett innenfor. Det er bare å gå rundt og nyte mønstrene du finner der. | The great attraction in Broome is to while away your days on Cable Beach. It got it's name from when as early as 1870 a telegraph cable from Europe, via Asia and Indonesia, entered Australia here. Nowadays that doesn't matter. What matters now is that it's an excellent beach, and the dunes inside it are just beautiful. Head there and discover for yourself all kinds of brand new, intricate patterns in the sand! | ||||||
