Vi har flyttet oss et godt stykke inn i landet, forbi gruvebyen Tom Price, til Karijini nasjonalpark. Allerede her ved inngangen til parken skjønner man at det bare er å glede seg.
Fjellet Mount Bruce, antagelig oppkalt etter nesten alle mannlige australiere, er den nest høyeste toppen i Western Australia. |

We are now quite a bit inland from the northwestern corner of Western Australia. We have passed the mining town of Tom Price and we're entering Karijini National Park. Already we grasp that we're in for a treat.
Mount Bruce, presumably named after pretty much the whole male population of the country, is only 1235 metres high, but still the second highest peak of Western Australia. |
