Sett fra siden virker australsk bush ganske så frodig. Hvis du flytter deg noen meter oppover ser du hvor mye av bakken som bare er tørr sand, og hvis du går bort til buskene oppdager du at de fleste er harde, tornete og ganske tørre de også. Skal du gå tur her bør du ha lange, solide bukser, og helst ikke klær du er redd for å få revner i. Men pene omgivelser, det er det.

Seen from ground level, the Australian bush may seem like a green and friendly place. If you move a few meters up, you see that most of the ground is actually just dry sand, and if you go closer to the bushes, you see that most of them are hard, thorny and quite dry as well. If you go for a walk here, you will need to wear long, sturdy trousers and you have to walk with care. But the surroundings are in deed beautiful to behold.
