Vi har nådd Victoriasjøen! Den dårlige nyheten er at det bare er en halvtime til det er mørkt, og i morgen tidlig skal vi videre før det blir lyst igjen. Den gode nyheten er at vi deler campingplass med en lokal bryllupsfest.

Temaet er tydeligvis gult og svart. Naturens eget faresignal, ivrig akkompagnert av en kraftig stortromme og en trompetist som holder alle elefanter på god avstand.

We have arrived at Lake Victoria! The bad news is that in half an hour it will be dark, and we'll leave again in the morning before daylight. The good news is that tonight we will be sharing the camp site with a local wedding party.

The theme appears to be yellow and black. Nature's own way of signaling danger. And to complete the cacophony there's a large drum and a trumpet player that plays as if he was competing with all the elephants in the country.
