This BIOS upgrade fixes the HW conflict between HD and Floppy and 32 bits disk access. Do the following : - Turn on your computer - Enter BIOS and write down your HD setup, cylinder etc. - Do a clean boot (by holding down F5) - Start AWDFLASH.EXE - Follow the instructions , BUT SAVE YOUR OLD BIOS!!!! - If the program stops at address 1ff0, turn your machine off and then on. The BIOS is upgraded now anyway. - Try to enter BIOS, if you have a password set now, do the following : Turn off your PC, Connect the dip switch W6 which is to the left the 8 small switches on your Motherboard, then disconnect it again. The password is now removed. - Turn on your machine again, enter BIOS setup and write the HD setup back. If you get a HD trouble like i did, try to auto-detect your HD or something and it should come up with the right info about your HD when you BOOT. If something dont work as it should , re-install your old BIOS which you saved.
