Over the weekend, there was a black belt testing in Columbia, MO attended by
Grand Master Park, Master Hardin and Master Tompkins. Many other
dignitaries also attending, including the mayor of Columbia, MO., other
local martial arts instructors and Mr. Mennings original instructor.
Results of the test:
Name Achieved Rank Club
---- ------------- ----
Mr. Chris Becker 1st Dan Moberly TKD
Mr. Bart Menning 4th Dan Columbia TKD
Mr. Brad Terry 5th Dan Instructor,
Moberly TKD
Mrs. Jean Tompkins 6th Dan
Mr. Keith Van Sickle 6th Dan Toledo Martial Arts
Another gentleman from Toledo, OH also tested for 2nd Dan and had a
wonderful test, unfortunately, I did not write his name down. If anyone
could supply that information I would really appreciate it.
It was a wonderful testing with many impressive techniques displayed. Grand
Master Park followed the testing with a seminar where the new kicking
patterns for gups were introduced.
Grand Master Park was also very supportive of having the moves to the new
kicking patterns and the latest Juk Am refinements posted to this list and
on the Web. As soon as I can get the correct descriptions (with proper
terminology, that is) of the patterns, will be forwarding that information on.
Congratulations to all that tested - job very well done.
