The first question is to wether the stuff IS copyright protected.
The books on the topic (patens, techniques etc) is protected - if nothing
else is stated, but the techniques itself?

The terminology can not - to my knowledge - be protected. That would be the
same as (C) protect any terminollogy in any sience, hobby etc.

Tecniques may be protected or "patented" - or tried protected, but it would
be difficoult since the tecniques or simmilare is found in many MA, Budo,
dance and other rytmican or nonrythmical movements.

Patterns may be protected - but for most of the Tull's the (C) would then be
at the ITF (and to my knowledge the ITF have no (C) on patterns).

On the other side - it would be unwise to (C) the techniques and patterns
since this will make the MA more difficoyld to spread etc. since everyone
proactising it have to get a license.

On the other hand - a (C) protection is regarding unlegal use of the written
or audiovisual stuff, like xerox the written sources. To use the stuff in a
paper - based on several sources and your own knowledge would in my eyes be
quite legal, as long as you do not directly copy it from a (C) work - and as
long at the method you are describing is protected in any other way, like by
patent.

My conclusion is that it is quite legal to present GTF techniques, patterns
and terminology - as long as you do produse & translate the content and do
not directly copy it from any (c) writings etc.
An anoter question is if you show respect for the art and it's masters while
doing so.
