Show-wrestling is American in origin, though it is fairly popular in Mexico as
well. It is a show-based mix of many different combat techniques, and flashy is
better than efficiency.
The performers of show-wrestling is fairly well trained, so that they avoid
actually injuring each other when they do what they do for a living - entertaining
an audience by fighting each other. Still, sometimes things do get out of hand,
and it is this element of danger that has made it so popular.
Although USA and Mexico are the countries where the show-wrestling is most popular,
it is also broadcast through satellite to many other countries, including
Sweden and Germany. Though popular, it is not a very formalized form of martial
art - it lacks quite a bit in discipline to be called a true martial art, such as
Karate, Judo or Tae Kwon Do.

Scissor Kick:In show-wrestling this is known as a drop kick. The
kick works exactly as described in the text of the maneuver, but a show-wrestler
will suffer a Knockdown afterwards, as he doesn't land on his feet.
Rope Trick:
Prerequisites: Athletics ll, Jump
Power Points: Show-Wrestling 1; Any 3;
This is a fairly typical trick for show-wrestling. Similar to a Wall Spring,
the Rope Trick utilizes the corner ropes to give more spring to a jump. The
wrestler runs over to a corner, jumps up on the ropes, and uses the elasticity
in the ropes to jump into the ring again in a powerful jump.
This maneuver can be combined with any basic punch or kick maneuver, as well
as the maneuvers Air Smash, Flying Tackle, and Jumping Shoulder Butt. If the
opponent is Knockdown, the Rope Trick's increased height will provide an extra
+2 bonus to damage.
This maneuver is Aerial, but will hit crouching. The wrestler
will suffer a Knockdown after Rope Trick is utilized.

Schools that teach show-wrestling are somewhat hard to find - unless you have
enough money and contacts to find one, obviously. The best schools are in the
USA, and are hard to find in other countries than USA. Mexico is the second best
bet for finding a school teaching show-wrestling.
In order to enroll in a school, you will usually have to sign a contract with
one of the larger show-wrestling organizations in either USA or Mexico - such
as the WWF (World Wrestling Federation.
Frederick Wallis, perhaps better known by his stage name The Great Pretender, is a large man. Literally.
Being 1.90m tall (6' 2") and 100 kg (220 lbs) and with his long, blonde hair,
he is not someone easily ignored.
When entering the ring, he usually wears a crown and a long, purple cloak with
a hermelin trim - similar to a cloak a king might wear. His function in the
show-wrestling world is as a bad guy, so he usually has to suffer quite a lot
of hurt. Still, he is a show man to the core, and even has his own fan club.
