Every year the last three years, a big, fat, guy in a red Christmas suit has
popped up on the Street Fighting circuit, challenging Street Fighters left
and right. He travels with his mobile arena, a trailer with a reindeer sled
painted on each side. The trailer has fold-out walls, and houses a decent-sized
arena. Santa will only fight on his own arena, and will only fight in the
period from December 1st 'till December 24th. Christmas Day, he says, is
a rather busy time for him.
The Street Fighter calling himself Santa, Father Christmas, or whatever, is
suitable to be inserted as a strange encounter in the time before Christmas.
He will challenge any and all Street Fighters in a given area to fight him
on his own arena. He challenges using post cards (Christmas cards, naturally),
challenging a Street Fighter to fight him on his own arena, which he calls
the North Pole.
He is almost a mythical figure in Street Fighting. Nobody knows who he really
is (if he really is who he says he is, it'll be too incredible), or
what he does the rest of the year. Some says it is Dhalsim in disguise, using
this subtle way of making fun of Christmas, but wrestlers that has managed to
grab Santa, insists that it is real fat and love handles under all the
beard and red Christmas suit. Street Fighters being Street Fighters, any further
discussion usually degenerates into fisticuffs.
The real truth is far more sinister than his jolly exterior would indicate.
Santa is in reality a Jonin (master) of a ninja-clan in Japan, using this
rather eccentric disguise to check that his skills are still up to the
rigors of combat. If someone (by accident or by design) should uncover his
true identity, it is very likely that he will take extreme measures to protect
his secret.
Under the beard and the fat (which is real), a fighting machine hides. He may
look funny, and he may speak English with a strange accent, but he'll still
kick your ass whether you've been a good boy or not!
Although Santa has a tendency to stick with his combos, he has a tendency to
ignore the traditional round of grace before the fight begins, and start the
pre-round round with a Speed of the Mongoose. Even though he's fat, he is frighteningly
fast and supple. To top it off, hidden speakers blare out Christmas songs and
carols all the time, granting Santa his Musical Accompaniment. It is suggested
that the GM plays for instance White Christmas when the player characters
encounter Santa in the ring.
Disguise Style is a [Wits + Disguise Style] rolled versus a difficulty
of 6, negating Style Lore successes to uncover Santa's style on a one to one
basis. Santa really prefers it when noone knows what style he uses, as that
might be the beginning of a chain of information leading to his true identity.
