The first character isn't actually a member of Shadow Strike Team, he is the VIPER Nest Leader who recruited them. He is Shadow Viper, and he despises those who interfer with his plans (but then, what mastermind doesn't?).

Background: Born to a family of lawyers, young Rodney was given no choice as
to what he would do with his life. He went to Harvard Law School and
graduates with honors, and with a passionate hatred for the U.S. Gov't &
Legal System. His fondest desire is to bring the whole thing crashing down.
He knows the system is corrupt and does his best to add to the quagmire,
unless his own interests are at stake. Needless to say, Rodney has his head
on backwards. His involvment with VIPER began in college, and his slick wits
kept him from capture (his powers helped, too). He rose through the ranks
until the opportunity came to buy his own nest, which he did with money
embezzled from the law firm he was working at, stolen money, and various
other illicit gains, which he didn't bother to launder, leading the old Nest
Leader to a quick jail term. He started his own law firm so as to appear
like any other lawyer, if a bit sensitive to sunlight. Currently, he
formulates plans, including vengeance on those who stand in his way,
mainly aimed at large scale money acquisitions and terrorist actions,
designed to hide his true intentions -- destroying the government.

Quote: "I'll see you in court!" As Shadow Viper: "Nice try, heroes. I look
forward to your demise."

Personality: Hatred is his motivation. He takes pleasure in wronging those
who have wronged him. He is also somewhat biased against non-whites, but he
doesn't let that show very often, and has nothing but contempt for most
organized white-supremists. He will stop at nothing to gets what he desires,
and thinks nothing of harming, even killing, those who get in his way.

Powers/Tactics: He is a distance fighter, prefering to use the Pinpoint
pistol. If necessary, he will use his mutant powers. His mutant powers
are not detectable by normal scanners, which is a bonus, because most metro
police departments (in my campaign anyway) have mutant detectors (just in
case). His favorite tactic is to hold a hostage as a body shield while
blasting at heroes. Keep in mind, though, that direct confrontation is not
something Shadow Viper does on a regular basis. He prefers to let others
do his fighting, which is why he brought the Shadow Strike Team together.

Appearance: Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 36 yrs old, 170 pounds. He has black hair
and brown eyes. He wears dark suits and sunglasses (unless in doors) when
at work. His VIPER armor is dark grey, with standard color VIPER insignia.

First a note about Shadow Strike Team (SST) in general. I haven't developed code phrases for them yet, as they are a new team in my Champions campaign, but feel free to do so. Each member is part of the whole, but each also has his/her own goals and priorities, which will be noted in the individual write-up. Background: Charlie Hinson was raised with the ideals of VIPER; take what you w
ant, any way you can get it, and don't let little things like rules get in your
 way. Both her parents were VIPER agents (that's where they met, actually). She
 got bounced from town to town, which worked out fine, as she was constantly in
 trouble at school. She was the classic "bad kid". During high school she got s
mart, play nice, pretend to be the good kid, and you'll get a good education wi
th which you'll be better able to take what you want, etc. She got a scholarshi
p to a good big city university where she acquired her BA in English Litand joi
ned w/ VIPER. It wasn't too long before she revealed her mutant abilities to he
r superiors (in combat actually; the heroes were really surprised). She was tra
ined in leadership and promoted to field commander. After a couple of years her
ding agents on low-risk missions (often secret), Shadow Viper got wind of her t
alents and bought her services from her old nest. He told her what he wanted he
r to do; she was glad to hear it. Her sense of adventure was ready to explode,
and now, she has a chance to really make it big.

Personality: Give it to me or I'll get it my own way sums it up fairly nicely.
She's also a bit of a flirt because she knows she's beautiful and then some. Sh
e looks younger than her 26 years, so she had Shadow Viper draw up some false p
apers and went back to college, mostly to keep an eye out for possible recruits
for VIPER. She is posing as a transfer student majoring in English. She alsp li
kes the collenge environment; she enjoys partying, especially when she charms a
 cute guy or two (doesn't take much for her). She knows what she can do and som
etimes she gets in trouble because she's virtually invincible when her powers a
re on (she tends to forget the "virtually" part). She loves the thrill of comba
t and going on missions. She's also something of a major flirt (to put it mildl
y; she's not a nympho, but she's not tied to one man, shall we say).
Powers/Tactics: Zephyr is support & leadership. She's in command, & people know
 it. She usually flies up above a situation and gives direction, only firing wh
en necessary, as it give away her presence and location. When she fires the air
blast, she blinks visible for a moment as the blast is fired. The special effec
t of her desolid and invis is that she becomes air, so much so that a mentalist
 cannot detect her mind. She is affected by the 4 elements while desolid. Her a
ir blast is a concentrated whirling of the minute dust particles found all thru
-out the atmosphere. She directs them into people with enough force to put them
 on the ground (usually).
Appearance: Charlie is a 5'5" caucasian woman, 130 lbs, w/ long red hair, green
 eyes, good tan, and a body to die for (this is not intended to be a sexist rem
ark, it is simple fact). She wears designer clothes when not on a mission and i
n public, at home she wears whatever's comfortable. Her armor suit is white w/
a grey whirlwind design on the left breast, grey gloves, boots, belt, and heads
et radio. Her belt has the red & yellow VIPER symbol.

I realize that her combination of Desolid & Invis makes her virtually impossibl
e to find, much less attack. I designed her that way. Even so, she was the firs
t member of SST to get captured in my campaign. She wasn't reckoning on one PC'
s Light-Blast that was bought Affects Desolid. Plus, the brick has Variable Adv
antage on his strength. I thought it was a neat idea when I let him buy it...
Oh, well. She'll get away. Just remember, she is mostly support & leadership, b
ut she also makes for a decent recon/info gatherer if she doesn't have to actu
ally get into a secured building. But, that's what VIPER agents are for. I hope
 you enjoy using her and her teammates (once I get them all posted). Let me kno
