Roni's Powers

EC: Alchemical Powers: are a set of powers confered by advanced alchemy, derived from the "blood" of a creature with that power. These powers are fixed on creation and may not be enhanced by almost any means; they are not in that sense "magical", as they are an inate part of the body and mind. Elemental Control: Alchemical Powers, 20pts, BP=20, AP=20, END=-, MP=10, RP=10.

Infravision: is a power which acts as the D&D spell, but can be turned on and off at will.

N-ray Vision: stopped as D&D Infravision, BP=20, AP=20, END=-, EC(-10), MP: 20-10=10, only acts as D&D Infravision(+1), RP=5.

Shapeshift: self: the form may be varied enough to alter details like clothing, or things like hair, skin tone, apparent ill health, or the apparent presence of wounds.

Project Body: is a mental power which allows travel between the stars, to the nearest in hours and the furtherest in no more than several years. However a companion who has TK in some form is needed, which must be in contact or mind-linked, to use this power.

Immortal: gives immunity to all natural disease or physical failings, and resistance to unnatural forms, even motion sickness. Healing will be at five times normal rate and almost any infirmity will eventually heal (regenerate). Gives waterbreathing, no effect from dusts and gasses that need to be inhaled, and no effect from vacuum, by removing the need to breathe. Note that though speaking will require breath this does not remove the protection. Gives no need for food or drink, though may still eat socially if desired, and this does not cause any effect from ingested poisons, etc. Dont age, and are not effected by almost any form of aging or withering magic. Need not sleep unless has been under a great deal of stress. This power cannot be turned off.

Roni's Background

Roni is an alchemical construct, a manikin, made by an alchemist close to the pinnacle of alchemical skill. He has no children and tends to treat his alchemical constructs as these, though he tells himself they are for other purposes, such as exploring other worlds. Roni is deliberately far less skilled in combat than she could easily be, due to in part to a possibly misguided belief that she may be less conspicuous that way, and also so that she must learn from the world, rather than being apart from it due to being so powerful.

Roni's powers are mostly inconspicuous, except for the strength and flight. Her Perfect Memory and Vocal Mimic make her almost the perfect messenger, though she does not have the Mind Lock of the standard "Imperial Messenger". She is an excellent tracker and navigator, but has no real skill at hiding herself, either while moving or in cover. She makes a passable scribe, and can communicate with almost anyone within 30', note this restriction also effects reading strange languages as this needs someone literate in it within 30'. She knows what is required of a warrior, she just lacks the training. Note that she cannot use the Project Body power until she aquires a suitable companion.

As it stands Roni gives an appearance of clumsiness. This does not apply to delicate or normal uses of force, but if she has to apply her strength she tend to go all-out. This is also the source of her Unluck, which is due to a lack of familiarity with things, and should wear off quite quickly. Her maladroitness and lack of familiarity with things also has most people watching her, which tends to make her nervous and thus leads to more unlucky accidents. Of course it could be her beauty, mind, or fluid way of moving, but she does not believe that.

Dogs do not like her because she does not smell quite human; keeping clean using her shapeshifting is part of this, as is the lack of sweat and some alien odours. This and one or two slips when she arrived (breaking a priest's arm who attacked her (using a Haymaker), asking "Who is Christ?", and "What god do you worship?") has set the witch finder brother of the injured priest after her, and as many other witch finders as he can manage to persuade to assist him (he also believes she might know how to turn lead into gold, due to something she was reported to have said about alchemy).

Roni is medium build, has short dark brown hair, brown eyes, a lightly tanned skin, and a pleasant voice. She is dressed in silver-coloured clothes that look like a loose suit of leather, with a jacket, trousers, light boots, but no gloves or hood. The clothes are for all intents and purposes indestructible, but give no protective value more than a light version of normal clothes. The shapeshift can change these to look like almost any sort of clothes, though she initially lacks the Disguise skill to copy things.
