This page came into being after an unfortunate accident resulting in the duplication of at least one magical item. After that incident, magical items have all received their own registry number - registered here - with a short note on who has it and from where it came. Whence? Anyways.

Obviously, there is also the threat of sanctions if an item is willfully duplicated, of course. Fortunately, that particular precation has not been needed as of now.
