Som alle byer med mindreverdighetskomplekser så har også Singapore fått oppført en voldsom konsertsal og operabygning nede på havna, Theatres on the Bay. Den ser ut som et par pinnsvin som ligger og sover side ved side, eller noe. Og bak den ligger det ene beige høyhuset etter det andre. Ikke veldig fargerikt, altså, men det ligger åpenbart mange dyre arkitektoppdrag bak her.

Like all cities that desperately try to be at least a little bit Sydney, Singapore has also built a concert hall thingy down at the harbour, the Theatres on the Bay complex. It may remind you of the durian fruit, dormant hedgehogs or just senseless amounts of money spent. Behind it there's one beige high-rise building after the other. Not very colourful, but there's little doubt that there must be some well-off architects behind this all.
