I Laayoune finner vi en ekte katedral, en arv fra da spanjolene styrte. Utenfor står det vakter som passer på at presten ikke misjonerer. En marokkaner må være muslim, det står i grunnloven. De eneste klientene som tillates her er utlendinger som jobber for FN, som er til stede i rikt monn for å overvåke våpenhvilen mellom Marokko og geriljasoldatene som sloss for et fritt Vest-Sahara.		In Laayoune we are somewhat surprised to find this cathedral, a heritage from back when the Spanish were in charge here. Outside, the police are standing guard to make sure that the priest doesn't attempt to convert anyone. A Moroccan must be a Muslim, because so says the constitution. The only clients allowed here are foreigners working for the large UN contingent that is here to monitor the ceasefire between Morocco and the West-Saharan guerilla.
