Like ved et vakttårn reist av tempelridderne på 1600-tallet fant jeg denne gubben. Han kjørte (med hjelmen på bakfrem) ut hit fra den lille landsbyen sin for å plukke snegler. Next to a watchtower erected by the knights who ruled the island for centuries, I met this old man. He had ridden there on his vroomcycle from his little village to pick snails. But he was sad to report that he rarely found any these days. I hinted that it might have something to do with his sight (I had just witnessed him driving), but he blamed climate changes. |
