Jeg anbefaler å bo på Günes Motel når du skal til Nemrut. Det tar bare litt under en time å gå herfra og opp til toppen, og hvis du ikke har lyst til å gå er det helt greit. De som driver stedet kjører deg gjerne opp og ned igjen.

Alternativet til å bo her er å bo laaangt unna, uten utsikt til selve toppen av fjellet. Sånn kommer det nok til å fortsette, for hele området har blitt fredet nasjonalpark. Den eneste grunnen til at dette stedet finnes er at det ble bygget før det ble ulovlig å bygge her.

I recommend staying here, at Günes Motel, if you're going to Nemrut. It takes less than an hour to walk up to the peak. If you don't want to walk, that's okay too. The people running the place will drive you up and down again.

The alternative to staying here is to stay much further away, which is not a good thing when you want to have some sleep between sunset and sunrise.

If you want to stay here, just go to Malatya and have a meal or a drink at VIP Cafe in the city centre. There a man called Kemal will hunt you down and make sure that you book yourself for a stay at the Günes!

Expect no other luxuries than a hot shower and a warm duvet.
( It's all you really need, anyway.)
