Du kan komme til Nemrut sydfra også, men da er det så langt til nærmeste mulige overnatting at det egentlig ikke er å anbefale å gå. The road is much better (or less puke-inducing at least) on this side, but the nearest accommodation is so far away that it's not practical unless you have a car.
