Spiderthresher farming drone
Designed as a fairly rugged, but cheap farming drone, the Spiderthresher
requires a minimum of NAS supervision. Shaped like a large, articulated box
with spindly, spider-like legs, it is uncannily like an enormous spider.
Couple that with the roving spot lights designed to aid and augment the
visual sensors, and the roaring methane internal combustion engine, and it
looks like a nightmare come to life. All coincidentally, of course.

skill check for the NAS operator, but can then put the link on "standby",
preserving NAS endurance). Can harvest any sort of grass-like plant (rice,
wheat, corn, whatever), and bundle it up with a skill of 70%. Can spray
pesticides over a field with a skill of 70% (possible offensive use of this
spray function will damage due to exposure to the pesticide, damage determined
by the GM). Can be instructed to scare away or kill any small vermin (rats
etc.) by loud blasts of sound from internal speakers, or spearing the vermin
with its sharp legs (automatic THAC0 20, operator's THAC0 at +2 penalty due
to awkward attack method, damage 2d6, can be used against people at the NAS
operator's discretion).
