Det grønne Australia
Etter å ha svettet meg gjennom det røde landet nord for Perth tok jeg et fly fra Broome til Perth og så meg litt rundt syd for delstatshovedstaden. Det var andre boller, det!
I stedet for rødfarge var det stort sett grønt å se overalt. Noen morgener kunne jeg se min egen pust, og hvis Jorda var flat kunne jeg ha se rett bort til Antarktis på den andre siden av havet. Men vi bor på en rund planet, og nedenfor kan du se hvordan jeg synes at akkurat denne delen av ballen ser ut.
Forestralia
After a sweaty journey through the red country north of Perth I got on a plane back from Broome to Perth to have a look around south of the state capital. Now, that was a different trip, I tell you!
This world was filled by green, not red. Some mornings I could see my own breath. Had our planet been flat, I could have looked over to Antarctica on the other side of the water. But we live on a spherical planet, and beneath here you can see how I perceived this particular part of it.
